Nick Emerick is from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he graduated with an Associates of Arts degree. He then transferred to the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science with an emphasis in Physics.

In March of 2011, Nick began working for ASI Investigations as an Accident Reconstruction Technician. During his time at ASI he learned most aspects of accident reconstruction through experience. After ASI closed in August 2020, Nick joined Bundy Accident Reconstruction. He plans to pursue more formal training to supplement his decade of experience in the field.
